pre-release Caseworker - Vandalia, MO

Pre-Release Caseworkers are responsible for:
Working with clients with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders to coordinate the transition from incarceration into the community
Coordinating identification, screening and project enrollment for client participants
Developing preliminary treatment plan
Serving as liaison between institutional treatment staff and clinical staff working with clients after release
Working with Re-Entry Caseworker to ensure comprehensive transition plan
Other duties as assigned
Requirements? Experience providing case management and community support services to persons with substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders
Bachelor's degree in a human services area (social work, human services, criminal justice, psychology) or an equal number of years of experience providing case management services
Experience working with corrections involved clients/offenders is preferred
Must be able to obtain Missouri Department of Corrections clearance

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
